My Parents Were Awesome
Perhaps you've heard of My Parents Were Awesome. I believe this photo, which I found while looking through some stuff over Thanksgiving, is a candidate for submission. Those are my parents on the right (and my mom's roommate and date on the left).

Points to your dad for not being swayed by the pastel times and going the classier white jacket route.
I had not heard of that blog, which is quite something. And hey, you could get in the book!
I think it was a college dance, yes. I like the picture a lot, too -- when I saw it, I knew I needed to get a copy. (I also scanned some thoroughly embarrassing pictures of myself that I might post sometime...no pastel jackets, though.)
