Liars

I love this.

Admittedly, you may find it somewhat disturbing.

Turns out Liars are coming to DC in February -- I'd been wanting to see them for a while, so this is excellent news.

THAT is some creepy kitten-nuzzling. I don't think I'd let that guy touch me on the shoulder like he does his band-mates.

Have you seen the video for Bat for Lashes' "What's a Girl to Do?" It's #3 alphabetically on Pitchfork's Top 50.

Basically it's a lot of cycling tricks riding down a tree-lined road at night, with no cuts. There is also a surprise at 0:40, but I won't spoil it for you if you indeed haven't seen it.

Andy, I hadn't seen that video, but it is really excellent. Works so well with the song.

Thanks for linking to that Pitchfork list, which I had not come across, either. Some clips I had seen -- like the wonderfully surreal one for Peacebone. But many I had not...I just loved the Black Dice video for Kokomo, which struck me as what it would look like if someone our age had a Video Out plug on the back of their head that connected to their subconscious. And the 77Boadrum video made me really wish I were there...
