Lady in front of me in the checkout line at Safeway this evening:
box of Nilla Wafers

Sounds like a sick kid ... or a totally rockin' party!
Perhaps my weirdest check-line experience was being behind a guy about my age buying almost exactly what I was buying, having a conversation on his cell phone remarkably similar to one I had just had. Spooky.
Remember that time we were in St. Paul one evening with Andrew and Maria Davidsmeyer and we were at the grocery store behind a woman buying a Cosmo (the magazine), a can of Coke, and a box of oreos. And Andrew whispered to us, "Now that's her evening."
Hrm, I think I remember the evening on which that happened, but don't remember that specifically, or the grocery store we went to. Anyway, yeah, that is pretty good.
