NYT on the farm

Just after I posted about the Public Farm 1 installation at PS1, the New York Times writes it up. Note that the woman in the accompanying photo is trying unsuccessfully (I say, anyway) to look relaxed lying on the grass.

I'm glad I read your description of this project before I saw the NYT article yesterday. The Times sometimes has a way of highlighting aspects of New York that make me glad I don't live there. Which is too bad, because it does sound like a neat installation.

Speaking of urban gardening, I thought this Strib article was interesting. (Finding that link I ran into this, which is amazing)

The Strib gardening article was interesting, and the pictures of the garden look wonderful. Mine is very scraggly-looking...
